We come from north-east of the republic, a place near our most famous summer resort called Pärnu. The present company includes three female and one mixed folk dance group. Most of us have been going in for folk dancing for 10-20 years and have attended a lot of folk festivals in several European countries. We really love folk dance and wish to introduce this side of Estonian culture to people throughout Europe. Since folk dancing is very popular in Estonia, all-republic Folk Dance Celebrations are held every five years here. In addition, separate female and male folk dance celebrations take place almost every summer. We have attended most of them. This year we are honoured and happy to participate at the Adriatic Folk Festival in Croatia. We are looking forward to visiting your beautiful country and performing to you.
