  LOITS
Suure - Jaani segarahvatantsurühm „Loits” loodi 06. oktoobril 1992. Alates esimesest päevast juhendab rühma tantsupedagoog TIIU SIIM. Tänaseks on rühmast kujunenud 20- liikmeline töötahteline, kodukohta, Eestimaad, tantsu ja laulu armastav, sõbralik, üksmeelne, naeruhimuline ja reisimist nautiv kollektiiv. Mida tähendab tantsurühma nimi ”Loits”? See on eesti rahvapärimusest tulev sõna ja tähendab värsivormis nõidumist. Mida me nõiume? Eks ikka tantsulusti, headust, ilu ja elurõõmu. Meie rühma repertuaaris on nii eesti folkloorsed kui ka eesti autorite lavatantsud. Samuti tantsime vanu seltskonnatantse ja teiste rahvaste tantse. Rühm on osalenud 4 korda Tallinnas Laulu – ja Tantsupeol, Eestimaa suurimal rahvapeol. Eriliseks saavutuseks peame aga meie rühmale omistatud I kategooriat 2004 ja 2009 aastal. Oleme esinenud paljudes Eestimaa paikades, tantsufestivalidel Soomes 2 korda, Portugalis ja Ukrainas, Komsomolski festivalil.
Ühine tantsurõõm ja tahe tantsida on teinud meist selle, kes me oleme. Oleme „LOITS”.

  LOITS
The Estonian folk dance group Loits from the village of Suure-Jaani was founded on October 6, 1992. From the beginning until today is the group leader dancing educationalist Tiiu Siim. There are 20 dancers in our group bound by a common interest. We like our home, Estonia, travelling, dancing and singing. We are friendly and unanimous collective. Loits - what does it mean? It is a magic formula, said or acted in certain way, to achieve the wished results. So, we are a magic group. We wish to produce beauty, fun and joy. There are folk dances and other Estonian dances, classical ballroom dances and even dances of other nations of the world in our program. We had participated fourfold on the Song and Dance Festival in Tallinn. We got first category in 2004 and 2009. We have danced in different places of Estonia, twice on the Dance Festivals in Finland, once in Portugal and Ukraine.
A common dance joy and will to dance have made from us its, who we are. We are Loits.
