Tuurit-Tuurit
Tuurit-Tuurit on üks isemoodi rahvatantsurühm, kes oma tantsude, rõõmsa meele ja mitmekesiste
esinemisrõivastega moodustab publiku jaoks köitva koosluse. Meie rühma repertuaari kuulub tantse
igale maitsele – klassikalisest Eesti rahvatantsust ja folkloorsetest tantsudest kuni kaasaegsete
autoritantsudeni ning paljudele tuttavate lugude uuenduslike töötlusteni. Soovime näidata, et rahvatants on
põnev ja arenev Eesti kultuuri osa, mida on huvitav vaadata ja millega on lust tegeleda.
Oleme pika tantsustaažiga rühm, kes osalenud erinevatel festivalidel ja üritustel lisaks kodumaale ka
Soomes, Lätis, Venemaal ja Hiinas. Esinema on meid kutsutud nii Pärnu kontserdimajja kui ka
väiksematele ja suurematele juubelipidustustele, kus tahetakse näha huvitavaid tantse meeliköitvas
etteastes. Samuti oleme osalenud edukalt mitmetel võistutantsimistel.

The folk dance group Tuurit-Tuurit
The folk dance group Tuurit-Tuurit comes from Pärnu – which is the summer capital of Estonia with a long sandy beach and nice green parks – being the representative dance group of the city.
Our group is full of experienced dancers with a youthful spirit.
The aim of the folk group is to preserve and introduce our heritage and culture and also add something extra, so some of the dances have got a fresh look.
Our goal is to enjoy what we are doing and we hope this shows in our performances.
Our leaders are the young and enthusiastic Eneli Rüütli who brings fresh ideas and innovations into the group and the sophisticated expert Henn Tiivel who teaches us the values and techniques of our traditional dances.
Tuurit-Tuurit has participated in all the major local and over the state folk dance events, like the Song and Dance Celebrations of Estonia, the Womens Dance Festival, the Mendance Festival and also introduced our national culture overseas to our neighbour countries - Latvia, Finland, Russia – as well as to faraway destinations like China.
The group has also gained the highest category in the over the state folk dance review.
